Dear LLT Member,
We have officially changed our name! We are excited to
give you a timeline update as well as pass on some information you can share with your team.
Our website www.legacythrift.org is live! Check it out when you have an opportunity! All traffic from our former website is now being redirected to the new site.
Just a
note that we are Legacy Thrift, just the two words the word center is not needed.
You can begin changing your Facebook pages to
reflect the name change. I have included a link to a screen recording https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Tvg27Ri-zflsS17yXwh95mQcS5vngS88/view?usp=sharing with directions on how to change the name and the
format to use. I apologize but the sound was not recording and Facebook will not let you change names more than once in 60 days so I was unable to record it again. If you have questions you can reach out via phone at 712-449-5287 or email at jbruinsma@legacythrift.org I have also attached a photo that can be posted and pinned to the top of your Facebook page letting the public know of the name change. Please forward this email to the person that takes care of your Facebook page
if they are not on the leadership team.
We will be ordering brochures and rack cards this
week and hope to have them at your stores by the end of the month at the latest. Framed posters will be coming sometime shortly after the brochures and rack cards. We anticipate offering some additional items going forward such as name tags, t-shirts, aprons and would love to hear your ideas on Legacy Thrift merchandise that might be helpful to your volunteers. I have attached a few versions of the logo that are approved for your use. The board has asked that you do not create
your own marketing materials or edit the logos in any way so that we can maintain a cohesive look across the chain.
Each store will have their own @legacythrift.org
email. If you are ready to get that changed over send Jessica an email (jbruinsma@legacythrift.org) on where to send the setup instructions. Be sure there is a person in your store that will be checking your email regularly.
Once again, for the foreseeable future we will
legally be Bibles for Missions Thrift Center D/B/A (doing business as) Legacy Thrift so there is no need to change names on bank accounts, order new checks, contact vendors etc. right away.
We have filed for a trademark for the name Legacy
Thrift and expect that will be in hand shortly.
As always, reach out with any questions you or volunteers might
have about the rebranding.
Your patience, grace and your enthusiasm has been so
appreciated! We pray that God will continue to bless our efforts so that we may support our ministry partners for a long time to come.
