Dear LLT Members,
Happy May! The start of the month seems like a good time to deliver another update about the rebranding process.
Some of you have the new signs installed and signs for the rest of the stores are in the works. We are excited for the new look and will send
out a press release on your behalf once the signs have been changed. You will have the opportunity to review the release before it is sent out. We are asking you to refer any questions from the media to John or Jessica.
The design for the truck/trailer wraps are very close to being finished and we look forward to having a new
uniform look. Stay tuned!
Canva Pro is available at no charge to our organization as a non-profit. We have created an account and each store can have access to that software. If you are not familiar, Canva is a graphic design platform that is great for creating social media posts. If the person who handles
your Facebook account is not on the leadership team please forward them this email or this link. This link allows them to join Canva (the upgraded Pro version) under the Legacy Thrift account and create very attractive posts quickly and easily. https://www.canva.com/brand/join?token=woaMkGH3gQULcHBEnfPFGg&referrer=team-invite
Speaking of graphic design, just a few things to note about the new logo. It can't be altered in any way that means changing the color, layout, font, etc.
We have donation receipts available for your store. They can be accessed via this Google Drive folder and printed in house. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1I8cQs7tr0VeFLTb3nDGfqBQjJ6KGvIK-?usp=share_link
All stores should have received new rack cards and brochures. Please be sure your volunteers have easy access to give them to donors and customers. It is a great tool for telling our story and we want our
donors and customers to know who we are and the impact we are having!
Many of you have set up your store emails, thank you! Be sure to have someone checking it regularly. If you have not already done so, we need the person from your store that will be responsible for checking the email to send an email to
jbruinsma@legacythrift.org. The email to Jessica will need to include the name of the person who will be checking it and an email address where instructions can be sent to set up your store's @legacythrift.org email address. We are asking all stores to use an @legacythrift.org email address
for a few reasons. First being accessibility, if a password is lost or the person checking the email becomes ill or unable we are able to reset the password and give access to someone else in your store. Second reason is that our new website has a place for volunteers to fill out an inquiry form about volunteering with your store. That form will eventually be directed right to your store's email account.
We really appreciate your efforts and enthusiasm for funding our ministry partners and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ!
In Christ,
Legacy Thrift Operations Team
