Greetings!
We are excited to begin rolling out our name change to Legacy Thrift March 1st! We have been working on lots of things behind the scenes and want to update you on the timeline so you can know what to expect in the coming weeks.
March 1 - Official Name Change
On March 1 we will officially begin to call ourselves Legacy Thrift!
Our new website will launch and traffic from our former website will be rerouted to the new site.
Stores will receive their @legacythrift.org email addresses and information on how to access those addresses. Press Releases will be available for local newspapers, news stations, etc.
Sometime in March
Signs and truck wraps will begin to be updated, this will be a several month
process.
Stores will receive posters, rack cards, brochures, etc.
Facebook pages will need to be changed - this will need to be done at the store level.
Google My
Business pages will be changed.
Stores can plan a Grand Re Opening (optional).
For the foreseeable future we will legally be Bibles for Missions Thrift Center D/B/A Legacy Thrift so there is no need to change names on bank accounts, order new
checks, contact vendors etc. right away.
We do ask that all marketing materials going forward use the new logo, font, colors, etc. If you find there are additional materials that you need please let us know and we can work together to ensure a cohesive and professional look of those materials. We anticipate offering some additional items
going forward such as name tags, t-shirts, aprons and would love to hear your ideas on Legacy Thrift merchandise that might be helpful to your volunteers.
